  1. Very eloquently put! This really sums up waze so nicely! Thanks for the shoutout to the users!

I had no idea there were 250 000 users outside of Israel already! How many in Canada? It would be cool if you could release a live charts/graphs of membership by region/country because it seems like things are really taking off! I have seen the number of facebook fans double in a period of weeks so I guess that is just a small indicator of the increasing userbase!!!

  2. Hey Muchski,
Things are taking off in a very nice way - glad you've noticed. We're not at liberty at the moment to release exact numbers per country, but we'll just say they're looking really nice. Especially in France where we just officially launched. Stay tuned to the blog for updates on how things are progressing, and thanks for your interest, support, and all that work you're doing up there in Canada... :)

  3. Are you working on getting base maps for other smaller countries as well. It's fun creating the base map in Norway and all, but at some point the blanks need to get filled in. The scandinavian countries are pretty fond of their gadgets, so even the the population isn't huge, you might get a lot of users pretty fast!
