Waze Arrives on Windows Phone!

It's official! After much anticipation, Waze is now available for download on Windows Phone! We are extremely excited to be available on the platform, and look forward to helping many new Wazers outsmart traffic.
Here is a look at the features you can expect in this release:
*Live routing based on community-generated, real-time traffic and road info. *Community-contributed road alerts including accidents, hazards, police traps, road closures and more.*Automatic re-routing as conditions on the road change.
*Learns your frequent destinations, commuting hours and preferred routes.
*Finds the cheapest gas station along your route.
*Simple sharing of your ETA, expected delays and a heads up upon arrival.
*Earn points and move up the ranks in your community as you contribute road info.
*Live maps, constantly edited and updated by Waze community map editors.
We are thrilled to be available for Windows Phone and we're proud that this will allow an even greater amount of Wazers to shave precious minutes off their daily commutes. With that in mind, we'd like to say, welcome aboard Windows Phone Wazers! Download Waze on Windows Phone

    1. Lucky you! I can't even get that button on this screen, it just keeps loading and loading and shows nothing. I got that "welcome to waze" message on my inbox and it has a "connect to facebook" link, which does absolutely nothing... Hope they fix it soon :(

  13. Guys - awesome news. Thank you for creating a Windows Phone version. When will you make it available for other regions? Right now, it seems to be available only for US users.

  14. I've already downloaded and installed the app on a Lumia 920 and have been testing for a couple of days now. So far I am not able to link with Facebook and wasn't able to report an accident either.... I will appreciate if you guys can let me know if this will be available in the next update.
    Thank You....

  15. Is it planned to make it work also with Windows Phone 7.8? I have a Lumia 800 and it can't be upgraded to 8

  16. Love this app, but I've noticed that the "connect to facebook" buttons don't work in the windows phone version. I tried re-installing the app, connecting through my laptop, etc. the buttons just don't link anywhere is all. It's probably just a bug that needs to be fixed since it just came out for this platform. Other than that, I've had no problems with it at all.

  18. Thank you for bringing WASE to WP. But there's some things that don't work on NOKIA LUMIA phones.
    1. auto rotation is not working, when i turn my phone horizontaly the WAZE still stays in vertical position...
    2. There is no connection to FACEBOOK possible, WAZE simply is not conecting to FACEBOOK at all.
    3. The language guidance for navigation (turn by turn )also is not downloading to phone.
I already have contacted support but there's still no solution for these problems....
Also reinstalling of WAZE ( approximately 6 times ) is not helping.

BUT POSITIVE is that finaly i can use WAZE on my NOKIA LUMIA 620, and for that i'm gratefull to WAZE team :)

  19. There is a dedicated website that will tell you whether or not a particular friv games will run smoothly on your computer. This download will help you determine if you can play friv games a team . If you do not want to download anything, remove it when done .

  20. This is great! I hope we keep feature parity with the Android and iOS versions. I don't think we were part of the "road goodies". More significantly, I want to get the new voices that were announced.
