Waze Connected Citizens Program Celebrates Tenth European Partner at Mobile World Congress

Mobile World Congress is in full swing and Waze is onsite celebrating a key milestone: 10 European Connected Citizens Program (CCP) partners!

The Nationale Databank Wegverkeersgegevens (NDW) is the first Netherlands and tenth European partner to join the free data share program. Other partners include:
  1. City of Barcelona (Spain)
  2. Government of Catalonia (Spain)
  3. BKK Center for Budapest Transport (Hungary)
  4. Latvian State Roads (Latvia)
  5. Lithuanian Road Administration (Lithuania)
  6. Tarktee (Estonia)
  7. Brisa Tollway Authority (Portugal)
  8. City of Ghent (Belgium)
  9. Sanef Tollway Authority (France)
As our first Netherlands partner, the Nationale Databank Wegverkeersgegevens will contribute critical data to the Waze app- key for hyperlocal citizen support.

The Waze Connected Citizens Program launched in October 2014 with ten inaugural partners. Today, the program has more than 55 partners including city, state and country government agencies, nonprofits and first responders. For more information, check out the below video.
