Avoid Football Traffic With Waze

From June 10 - July 10, the Eurocup tournament will be taking place in France. While this is exciting news for fans, traffic is sure to be bad in cities hosting the games (Paris, Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, and St-Etienne.)
To help you get around traffic throughout the tournament, don’t forget to keep Waze running so that you can benefit from real-time driver insights.
You should also take advantage of these features to help you get the most out of the app:
    1. Planned Drives: Take the stress out of getting to the game, or even a regular appointment, by planning your drive ahead of time. All you have to do is enter the time and date you need to arrive, and Waze will recommend the best time to leave. When it gets closer to the time of the event, Waze will send you a reminder with an updated departure time based on real-time conditions.
      1. To enjoy this feature, make sure reminder capabilities are enabled in your phone’s settings!
    1. Smart Calendar: When you give Waze access to your Calendar and/or Facebook, appointments and Facebook Events will automatically turn into Planned Drives.
    1. Speed Limits: Always know the speed limit when driving on new or familiar roads. You’ll be notified in case you start driving over the limit. It’s a smart way to avoid speeding tickets!
    1. Send Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA): Let family and friends know you’re on the way. Forget about those “Where are you?” messages and phone calls.
    1. Add a Stop: Need to make a quick stop? Add one with Waze to make sure you get the fastest route.
If you don’t have the app yet, you can download Waze here.
