Turn Your Waze Carpool into a Party

Wazers, today is the day we don't just ride together in pairs—today, we ride as a party. Because today, Waze Carpool fills even more of those empty seats.

Why is it a party? Well, there's a lot to celebrate with the expansion of Waze Carpool: access to the elusive HOV 3+ lane across much of the Bay Area, more affordable rides, and even fewer cars on the road—all with no added stops.

And here's how it works:

Once a ride is set, it becomes available to other riders traveling a similar route.

New riders can join the existing ride by meeting at its pickup points.

This means no additional detour for the driver or wait for the riders. And, everyone enjoys a more affordable ride; drivers save even more on their regular commute (subject to legal limit), while riders split the cost.

Wazers, don't waste another minute. Fill up those seats, make some new friends, and let us know what you think. Share your carpooling experiences with us in the Waze Carpool Community.

Happy Carpooling,
The Waze Carpool Team
